Willow Lake Métis Group (WLMG) is thrilled to announce Andy Harnett as their new COO starting his role immediately. Andy has strong ties to our Nation and community.

Andy will work towards building capacity and strengthening WLMG’s mandate. He will work with the major industry players in our region to provide service and partnership at a new standard. Andy will develop and lead a team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective. He has a unique mix of business and management expertise, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of our industry. His strong leadership skills and experience will allow him to approach business from a creative point of view.

Andy is an experience manager of people and business. His industry experience starts on-the-ground, which is key when building partnerships and understanding not only business, but the resourcing and effort required to build world class standards. Andy is skilled in sales, occupational health, safety management systems, and the oil and energy industry. Andy brings knowhow to WLMG from over 25 years of working alongside some of the most recognized name in Alberta’s energy sector on both the producer and contractor side.

He has spent the last decade in executive level roles. With an extensive list of qualifications and education, Andy is a COO that brings a wide-ranging skillset to the WLMG team.
