Traditional Land Use and Cultural Retentions have been a huge focus for our community. Getting on the land and practicing our harvesting rights brings the community together. Willow Lake Métis aims to facilitate 4 harvesting camps a year. Documenting our land use is so important so we can share with our surrounding Industry and government representatives that we are on our traditional land practicing our contemporary way of living.
